Helped Best Friends, an animal welfare society, build a multi-site Drupal setup to house their local program sites: Los Angeles, Utah and New York.
Working as Lead Developer on this project, I determined the best way to implement the design in Drupal: figuring out what fields to use on content types, setting up Views, determining which modules to use, and where to write custom code to minimize overuse on contributed modules that didn't do exactly what was needed.
Built a custom module to allow searching for adoptable pets using data uploaded to PetPoint. Later, I helped to replace this with a new module pulling data from Rescue Groups. Integrated events from Google Calendar, national news, and Google Custom Search.
