Helped rebuild the American Association of Orthodontists website, migrating it from a ColdFusion website to one built on Drupal.
Built a single sign on Drupal module to allow AAO's 20,000 members to login against AAO's netFORUM CRM database though a SOAP API. Logged in users were also logged into netFORUM's website to allow access to its e-commerce section. They were also able to update their profile in Drupal and the changes were pushed over to netForum.
Created the Communities section on top of a customized Organic Groups module allowing users to join public and private groups and creating and commenting on forum topics.
Optimized site performance and scalability by configuring Varnish, Redis, Drupal page cache, Drupal block cache and Drupal View caches within the Pantheon hosting environment. Used New Relic to pinpoint bottlenecks and to verify the performance gains.
