Helped Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids build the Tobacco Control Laws site to explore legislation and litigation around the world.
Took over a half-completed site unfortunately comprised of a bunch of disorganized and buggy php files and migrated to a Model-View-Controller setup on top of the CodeIgniter framework. Created the administration section to allow the addition of country data using a customized workflow. Built the database schema. Configured PDF generation software to dynamically generate .pdf documents for each country based on their data.
Based on the success of the site, a second project was undertaken to add a Litigation section. Built an Advanced Search feature on top of Google Custom Search. It used Structure Data and a custom site map to send the data to Google and used their REST API to retrieve results that could then be formatted.
